Happy New Year!

Wow, it really has been over a year since I first set up this itch.io page and started learning Unity! It's been a whole lot of fun, and really has become my number one means to unwind and zone out.

One of the biggest realisations I've come to recently is that there is a lot to learn, and I'm still only really scratching the surface of Unity and the toolset. What I also came to realise is that my game had become a bit of a monster, from a development perspective, and was becoming harder and harder to build upon. It was with this in mind that I decided, around November last year, to scrap the game and start again. The core idea of the game remains, and I've simply taking the opportunity to reset, take what I've learned, and re-build from the bottom up. The result, so far, is a far sleeker, more manageable code-base, and workflow, and ultimately a superior platform on which to further flesh out the game.

The newly revamped game isn't quite ready to play, but in keeping with my approach from last year, I'll be publishing regular alpha builds when the time is right.
