Bug fixes

  • Bear attack sound is no longer duplicated
  • Random spawns now appear on NavMesh only, so all AIs should move freely and not be spawned in water
  • Spider enemy randomly exploding in size and filling the screen issue resolved
  • Game company details updated (option config from previous versions will be lost)
  • Fixed issue with High Score not saving

New features / enhancements

  • Weather and sounds are now "muted" when indoors
  • Added option to disable reflections, improving performance (Main Menu > Options > Reflections)
  • Improved lighting in "Beach Town" level
  • Global "ACES" tone mapping on all levels
  • Added Minimap key to "How to Play"
  • Removed player injuries sustained by water
  • Slower time passing in "Desert Escape"
  • Added more dangerous spiders around treasure in "The Forest" and "Beach Town"
  • Changed some of the level music

Internal

  • Refactored Level Manager and added Level Settings
  • Cleaned up Miinmap / HUD Manager component code
  • Introduced "Quest Machine" for quest framework

Coming in the January release (22.01):

  • First "Quest" trial
  • More performance tuning options
    • Configure flora draw distance
    • Disable fog
  • A more "homely" home base
  • More NPC activity in "Beach Town"
  • More to see in "The Forest"
  • Level high scores
